Difficulty in Opening Visa Panel for Pickering PXI Matrix in MAX (Hex 0xBFFF0011 error observed)

Hello everyone,

I am having a Pickering LXI chassis 60-104-001 with PXI Matrix card 40-580-001 interfaced through LAN. I am able to detect them in NI MAX but unfortunately I am unable to open the VISA Test Panel for PXI cards. It throws an error ( VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0011) Insufficient location information or the device or resource is not present in the system.)

• MAX 2023 Q4
• VISA 2023 Q3
• installed the VISA and IVI drivers for the card from Pickering.

Hi, I'm having the same problems. Seems like having issue with NI-VISA driver? Did you solved it and how?

Hello Toanlv_97,

Unfortunately Pickering LXI chassis 60-104-001 doesn´t support VISA, but you can use the IVI drivers for communication.

However make sure you install all the necessary drivers from the Pickering( PXI, LXI and IVI drivers)
