Comport with compiled application

I'm using a few comport vi's and have chosen a 'control' input for the comport. When I run the vi it comes up with all available ports on the PC to select from and works great however after I compile my application and run it on another PC, the selection box comes up blank. It fails to detect any available ports. Is this something that I have to click on/off as a compiler option?

When you built the exe, did you also create an installer? If you did create an installer, did you select to include NI-VISA run-time, NI-VISA Configuration support, and NI-MAX? Including NI-VISA is the most important thing to include and is absolutely necessary.

I did not create an installer but I will try that for sure. I installed the NI-VISA runtime EXE after and it did work so I'm sure if I did include all that it will work.
