34970a - What are the readings format/type?

I am trying to take readings from a 34970a, can anyone tell me what the readings from that device is like? mV? mA? Thanks.

It is all explained in the manual for the instrument which you can download from the Agilent website.

It will be in volts if you've configured the instrument to read voltage, amps if it's configured to read current, ohms if its configured to read resistance, Hz if it's configured to read frequency, etc. What programming language are you using? There are drivers for LabVIEW and CVI here.
