weintek hmi communication with labview using MODBUS

Hi ,

i have a weintek mt8070ih which i already interface with a PC using MODBUS client server options. the HMI is programmed with  programming software EB8000.

now i want to intereface this HMI with PC using Labview MODBUS option. i developed a sample code in labview by using MODBUS I/O server but when i execute the appilication and connect HMI with PC using ehternet cable no communication is established.

I deveopled a simple switch button app in labview for PC side and a LED based page on HMI side. can any body help me in this matter.

Good day,

A couple recommendations:

- Double check the firewall and antivirus settings, these programs may be blocking NI software which would explain why you are not communication with the HMI (see Document ID: 2GD9CL6Q).

- PING the IP address from the development computer to ensure that the device is still visible on the local network.

- Check the following tutorial (configurations should be the same): Connect LabVIEW to Any PLC With Modbus
