I am planning to use a HP Infinium scope (54845, 1.5GHz, 8Gsa/s, 4 Chs) to measure the rising time of a signal, about less than 1us. I am wondering what is the time resolution that this scope can achieve, providing that the signal is good enough. I will be appreciated if anyone can give me an estimation. If it is greater than 1%, I will give up my attempt to save time. Thanks! Dan
I think you will have better luck finding an answer if you post your question on HP's website. I know about National Instruments scopes, though not HP's.
