Self-calibration

Hi,

I need some help on the self-Calibration using the cold junction available in NI-DAQ.

I am using the Cdaq-9172 8-slot USB 2 chassis and the NI 9211 4-Ch +- 80 mV 24 bit thermocouple differential analog input module.

I need to calibrate the thermocouple using these devices. However, the ‘self calibrate’ does not appear to be available and cannot select it. The ‘self calibrate’ is available on other modules such as the USB NI 9211A but I think that one is different from the one I am using.

I would be grateful if someone could help me on that

Labtrainer as JonBowers pointed out the 9211 apparently does not support self calibration, therefore you can not self calibrate the device. 

You also would have better luck getting the answers you are looking for if you post your questions in the correct forum.  This forum is for the High Speed Digitizers, and your 9211 would be better off in the Multifunction DAQ forum.
