Robo Rio 2.0 unrecoverable error

my team was going to a presentation to a 5th-grade class and when we went to turn the robot on the status light was flashing nonstop. The morning before we had started it up and got it driving to make sure things were working correctly. Everything was fine when we were testing. I've tried putting it into safe mode and nothing has happened. any help is greatly appreciated. I have also tested the sd card with the image on it in another Rio and it worked fine.

The flashing light means the roboRIO cannot boot successfully.  The unrecoverable error with the 2.0 means there's an issue somewhere with the SD card being read.

From your steps, I see the following taking place.  Please correct me where I'm mistaken:

1. Entire robot system tested successfully and shut down normally.
2. Robot packed up and driven to demo
3. At demo, robot failed to work with flashing status light
4. SD card removed from roboRIO 2.0 and placed into another to test.  Other roboRIO 2.0 booted fine

For clarity, did we ever try reseating the SD card in the original roboRIO 2.0?  Given the SD card worked elsewhere, I don't believe there's any issue with what's on the SD card itself.  The two logical things remaining in my mind are a damaged SD port no longer able to read or the SD card became unseated during transport and reseating it would resolve that issue.

Why does it seem that recovery from a "unrecoverable" flashing red status light is a big secret.  Seems that enough people have had the problem.  Let's post a step by step with the unfortunately last step is to return.

Could someone please send me instructions how to fix?  

I have tried everything I have seen the forums but nothing has worked.
