Broken RoboRio 2.0

Had problem at competition after a match. when trying to do a system check we were unable to get a roboRIO connection.

We reached out to support and they said to repost it again on this forum in order to get a replacement through warranty

We received an “Unrecoverable Error” status light after a normal match, we don’t know what caused it.
We noticed it post match when trying to connect to do a system check.
One of our other team mentors said they contacted support previously, and was told to post on the forum here

Hi, 

 

Please try the following: 

  1. Turning the roboRIO upside down and shaking it vigorously.
  2. Vacuuming out the ports on the roboRIO.
  3. Use canned air or compressed air to clear the hardware pinouts.
  4. Check with a flashlight for material making contact in the port pinouts.

You can also try using a different SD card

Speaking with the mentor, all proposed solutions were attempted at & post competition with a CSA. We could not get the error code to go away
