FlexLogger 2019 R4 is now released and available for download.
This release include many features that simplify configuring larger channel counts, applying custom analysis, and monitoring the execution of your test system.
Hardware and Project Configuration:
- New hardware support for:
- Configure ANY sample rate for CAN/LIN
- Apply zero and null offset calibration to multiple channels simultaneously


- “Save As” function to quickly reuse existing projects as templates
- Integrated system health metric reporting to monitor CPU load, hard disk space, and memory used


Automation:
- Trigger event based on test time elapsed
- Export alarm history to CSV file format
- Toast notification support for channel alarms


Third Party Integration:
You can use the FlexLogger Plugin Development Kit (PDK) 1.1 to build plugins in LabVIEW that access NI DAQ I/O, XNET, and calculated channels for custom functionality. This support includes but is not limited to the ability to execute domain specific analysis such as rosette calculations.


Analysis:
- Digital input support in arithmetic and Boolean formulas
- Calculation formula support for
- e, true, and false constants
- logarithm functions (log and log10)
- Ternary ? : operator
Ternary operators can be used for decision making in place of conditional statements if and else. The ternary operator consists of three operators indicating
condition? valueIfTrue : valueIfFalse
such that the second argument is the result if the condition is evaluated as True and the third argument is the result if the condition is evaluated as False.
