send e-mails with FP-2000

Hello,

I tried to send an e-mail with a FP-2000-controller. I used the example-vi "RT Email.vi".

The "GetNetworkInfo.vi" didn´t return me the right values of all outputs. They are all 0.0.0.0.

When I replace the "GetNetworkInfo.vi" with a constant containing the IP of my FP-device,

the RT Email.vi still don´t work. There are no errors.

My FP-2000 is connected to the intranet of my company and I inserted the IP-adress of the

smtp-server of our company in the field "Server Adress".

I don´t know what to insert in the field "Return Email adress (From)".

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Have you tried using the SMTP Email Send Message.vi located in the Communications Palatte? I have used this vi succesfully to send emails from RT devices. Otherwise, can you post the RT Email.vi example and i will try it out on my FP devices to see if i have same problems.

The problem is now solved. I used the wrong sender-address.
