missing pulses

I want to be able to generate a pulse train with 15 pulses then miss one pulse and then continue again repeating 15 pulse then miss one. Is this possible with fieldpoint devices?

Hi there,

Yes, you can generate your custom pulse train with fieldpoint devices.  I suggest using a digital output module to generate a continious waveform based on an array of points resembling your custom pulse train.  There is a wide variety of rates you can achieve with these digital output modules based on how much you are willing to spend. For example, the NI 9401 (for CompactRIO) can generate waveforms up to 10 MHz, while the NI FP-DO-401 (for FieldPoint/compact FieldPoint modules) can generate waveforms up to 20 kHz.
