Hi LVers,

I have a cDAQ-9181 ethernet chassis (network DAQ box) here which I can find and use in MAX, and thereafter in LabVIEW. When I do a self-test, the computer bleeps and I can then see the channels in LabVIEW. However, it doesn't remember the unit - if I turn the computer off and on again, I have to go through the whole procedure again. Surely it should remember the settings? The IP address is set dynamically but isn't changing. Surely the user can't be expected to go into MAX every time the system is switched on.

Anyone any experience of such things?

Switching to a fixed address, then unreserving the chassis and reserving it again has fixed the issue..
