FP-1601 with LabVIEW 7.1 upconvert to 2012

I am trying to modify a FieldPoint FP-1601 system.  The code was created years ago by another in LabVIEW 7.1 (which I do not possess).  It appears that LabVIEW 7.1 can be downloaded, but it requires LabVIEW 7.0, which apparently is not available for download.  I have software going back to LabVIEW 8.5.

I can open the VI in LabVIEW 2012, but there are some translation errors (previous FieldPoint functions mistaken for Front Panel functions).  Assuming that I can work through the differences, what is the newest version that is still compatible with the FP-1601?

LabVIEW 2012 (and the NI-FieldPoint driver version 6.0.11) removed support for the FP-160x hardware.

You can use LabVIEW 2011 or older (and NI-FieldPoint 6.0.10 or older) with the FP-160x.
