Also as I stated in the earlier thread this moth, this all started just AFTER the NI forums were down for maintenance sometime near the end of November. What ever NI did then probably is what is behind all this. And as I stated earlier , no slow down in speed. no changes in settings , it is just random.

Unfortunately nothing changed in the NI Forums during that maintenance. It was maintenance on the other parts of our site, which can affect your ability to log into the forums which is why I posted a notice.
I will keep checking on this issue.
Thanks,
Laura

Actually - I had a few more questions for those of you seeing the problem.
Is it just the main page you see funny? What happens if you go to a board or a forum thread?
I know many of you have given me the browser that you are using, but if you have not, can you make sure to provide it? OS would be a good addition as well.
Thanks again,
Laura

Hi laura,
I wish I had a dollar for everytime I changed something that could not have possibly caused problems else where, well I would be a rich man.
But I believe you anyway.

OS is WIN XP PRO SP3, Browser is Firefox, The entire forum is screwed when it happens, all threads, headers, replies, Mine is back to normal now after being messed up for several hours, and nothing has changed at my end.

Double ditto- but still bad on Firefox. IE7 looks better but the text editor is "flakey". Cursor disappears. Cancel and Post buttons move. Text from sections outside the editor overlap etc....
ED-
As we speak FireFox started working and looks better than IE7

Laura,
I don't mean to be so impatient but this has been going on for over a month, the NI support forum is unusable when in this condition. As are the other forums, I was about to send a recruiter who has an open LabVIEW position to the proper NI forum to post in, but I won't be doing that now. Does NI have any escalation policy for problems that are over a month unsolved?
Thanks, I know this is not your fault.

Safari (Windoze/iPhone/iPad) was screwed up this way for a while a few weeks ago (coincidence or not with the maintenance I won't guess). Then on my iPad it reached an interesting state where the colors where improved, the light grays had more of a tannish color, and I actually thought it was a nice improvement. The trouble was that all of the thread names were in bold so I had no read/unread clue and there were some other formatting issues. Recently it has been hunky-dory on both mobile devices and Mozilla.
Right now it is all good on XP/Firefox 3.6.13. Knock on wood....
OK, I have to guess. I saw this problem, and the Kudos coming and going and slow logins around the time of the last maintenance. In my world, "shouldn't have an effect" is very different from "couldn't have an effect". Plus, there is always Ocaam's razor.

I've been told a few changes have been made by the vendor. It sounds like the problem went away for you all for the time being. Please post back if/when this ceases to be the case.
Thanks,
Laura
