The location of popups is poor

Imagine you are editing a posts and decide to cancel.

The problem is that that dialog pops up nowhere near the mouse or where we are looking, so we might even miss it. If we finally notice it, we need to move about 1000 pixels up to press it. This is not a normal user experience.

Any such popup should appear with the [stay] button positioned right under the mouse so if we just click without moving, it gets cancelled. No mouse movement needed unless we want to really leave.

(Chrome on windows. I have not tested other browsers)

Hi Christian,

These types of alerts are browser specific and the positioning will vary depending on what you are using. Unfortunately, this cannot be controlled on our end.

Thanks,

Lili

Thanks. Unless it is LabVIEW, I have little knowledge about how these things work. Thought it was worth asking at least. Sometimes web programmers can do wonders... 😄

On Firefox, the dialog shows in the middle of the window.
