I saw this post in my RSS feed and I was so happy. 

Then I saw the follow-up and wondered if it was actually implemented.

I notice that when I right click in the text box, (Firefox 4.0.1) that there is a checkbox for "Check Spelling".  When it's checked, it seems to be working. 

This is a good thing.

Spell checking is an awesome feature. I try to write as proper English as possible and sometimes I create typos while typing. Spell checking helps me lot here, since I am from Germany and only using English in the www.
