Solutions marked by scripts?

I saw recently multiple posts were made as solution at this time: 28-08-2015 04:39 AM.

-I felt it was done by some script or somehow it is not appropriate.

-Check below images from this post

-clearly the answer mentions as marked by citrusgal

-When checked about the user profile the lst logged in time :

-Is it possible to mark as solution without the author logging into forum?

- Also I am aware that Knights can mark solutions on behalf of others like below from is fine.

After taking a look at this issue, it seems this can be a bug and it's only affecting posts marked as solutions prior to August 27, 2015. At this moment we're escalating this issue to Lithium for further assistance. 

We will post updates when available.
