unable to deploy to cRIO

I'm using C++ on a Windows 7 64-bit development machine.  The project and remote connection have been created.  When I press 'Deploy', the windows shows 'downloading to robot..'.  It appears to hang and I have waited several hours for it to complete.  I've already posted my question to the C++ forum but this problem feels like a 'cRIO deployment/communication' issue.

Can I use the NetConsole?  (I tried it and no messages appeared).

I'm not getting any feedback.  How do you diagnose problems?

Any thoughts/ideas?

Hey jnettleton,

Are you able to successfully reimage the cRIO? How are you connected to the cRIO? I would try directly connected to the computer if you haven't already. Make sure you don't have any firewalls turned on.  You can use the console out on the cRIO to get some feedback on the state of the cRIO:http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/354A5124E6A667988625701B004A77CD. If you can also try deploying from another computer.

Yes, the cRIO has been reimaged (multiple times to try and get this working) and the development environment set to C++.  The cRIO connection is through an ethernet cable between the LAN connector on the development PC and the first port on the cRIO controller.

The Windriver connection is established fine and displays the list of running tasks.  So after a successful connection, I was assuming the 'deploy' process would be ready to go.

I don't recall if the Windows firewall is enable (probably is turned on) and will check it out on Monday.

Hey jnettleton,

Any update on this issue after trying it with Windows firewall turned off?

Turned off firewall and then had cRIO connection problems.  It didn't appear to help (yet).
