Yesterday afternoon, after preforming a re-imaging of the cRIO, our robot stopped working. The "status" light on the cRIO had gone solid yellow. After a little digging online, I discovered that a solid status light indicates that "the chassis has detected an unrecoverable error" and that we should "contact National Instruments." But National Instruments only offers official FRC support during the build season itself, so I can't get any help that way.
When we plug in a computer through ethernet, it registers as connected to a network, but the cRIO imaging tool, Windriver, and the driver station software won't connect to it. So we're basically left with a nonfunctional cRIO. It's even one of the new four-slot ones. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong here and how we can fix it?

If you call into the main ni support line you should be able to get support with this. It's possible you may need to rma your controller. To confirm that enable console out on the controller and connect a null modem serial cable to the controller and get the output (putty is useful for this). You can also try to put the controller into safe mode by holding the reset button for five seconds. If it then shows up in measurement and automation explorer try to format it and then use the imaging tool to reinstall software
