Intalling LabView On Vista

It appears that Vista will not allow the FRC license to be changed from .txt to .lic. Does anyone know anything about this problem?

I don't use Vista, but it sounds like the windows "feature" of hiding file extensions. Here is a web page that explains how to turn that feature off. http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/1468/vista_show_extensions_for_known_file_types/ Once you've done that, see if you can remove the .txt extension.
