CRIO Imaging Question

I'm having a problem. All my software is up to date and everything there is fine, but I'm confused with the imaging part. Do I need to do anything to the cRIO after I open it out of the static package, like hook it up to the other stuff, or can I image it right away with the classmate before hooking it up to other stuff?

Before imaging you should insert the modules into the chassis but other than that you just need power and an ethernet cable to image it.
