Using Front Panel DataSocket Connection

Hello,

I want to make a Front Panel DataSocket Connection in my VI, but unfortunatily when I right click a control or an indicator, I can see Data Operations

as explained in the DataSocket Tutorial Document    http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3224    but not DataSocket connection.

Please tell me what should I do ,

The following post deals with the problem you are experiencing :

It appears effectively that the tutorial is obsolete for the LabVIEW version you may have, and therefore the contextual menu "DataSocket Connection" is not there any more.

You have to go through the properties of the control and select the data binding tab.

so there is no diffrence between "front panel data binding" and "Datasocket Connection, 

it depends on which LabVIEW version I am using.
