Cannot image roboRIO

We have a rio that has not been used in a while.  I was able to update the firmware to version 6, but it will not accept an image.  I have tried everything that is listed in the forums, including command line reformatting through SSH.  I believe I need someone at NI to supply me with a recovery script.  Please help.

Just to double check, have you tried formatting the roboRIO while in safe mode?
