We've had a bear of a time imaging the RoboRio2. Following many suggestions we've seen:
- Changed USB cables
- Changed Laptops
- imaged the MicroSD card using the BalenaEtcher program
The last seemed successful, but when we went to set the team number using the roborio imaging tool, it appeared as if it wasn't imaged.
Is there any recommended solutions that we should try?
The microSD card slot itself seems to have a bunch of issues:
- Cards have fallen out when the RoboRio is flipped upside down
- Cards have jammed in the slot making it difficult to remove -- in fact, we've attempted to put a second card in because you couldn't see/feel the MicroSD card (there doesn't seem to be any spring action like other microSD card holders where the card extends slightly and you have to be careful that you don't shoot it across the floor when you remove it).
Is there a reason the MicroSD card slot doesn't behave like other MicroSD slots where the card is slightly higher and spring loaded?
Right now we have 2 RoboRio 2s that are paperweights and we've gone back to the RoboRio 1s that we have.
