.exe Generated on Windows 2000 Moved to Windows XP

I generated a small application using LabView application builder on a Windows 2000 system, which I've run on other Windows 2000 systems.  I tried using the application on a Windows XP machine.  It opens and appears to run properly, but produces an error on the serial DMM hooked up to COM1 (the instrument doesn't respond and produces  Code 1073807202).  Is there be a problem using an application generated on 2000 with XP?

Thanks,

Hi Dale,

It sounds like you might not have the NI-VISA Run-time Engine installed.  There is a KB entitled How Do I Resolve VISA Error -1073807202 (0xBFFF009E)? that may help out.  Let me know if that works for you.

Kind regards,

Hi Robert,

It to me a while to get back to this problem, but I tried your suggestion and it worked!  Thank you very much for your help!
