Error 200962 PCI 6534 Firmware could not be downloaded...

Hi,

I just got a brand new NI PCI-6534 and have been running some NI sample code (Synch_dig_InOun_6534.vi) to make sure everything is in good working order.  It ran fine for a while (probably 15 runs), then reported Error -200962 -- firmware for this device could not be downloaded.  Does anyone know why this occurred or what to do to fix it?  I need this card to be functional ASAP.

I'm running LabVIEW 7.1 with DAQmx 8.7.2.

Hi Kevin, 

To narrow down the cause of the problem, could you try installing your hardware and running the example on another computer?  If the board functions properly on the new machine, then the problem is most likely a driver issue and you should reinstall DAQmx on your original computer.  If not, the most likely cause is damaged hardware and you should contact us to arrange for a repair.  Be sure to let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks for posting and have a great day!

I ended up repairing the DAQmx software and that solved the problem.  Thanks for the help!
