Opening attached .csv file in diadem

Solved!

HI,

I have attached a .csv file which when openened in the diadem, first it shows only two channels whereas it actually contains 4 channels.

Secondly it opens with the channel names as noname, noname_1 whereas the channel names are on the top of the file. May I know the reason and solution for this problem.

Hello X. Ignatius,

Have you tried loading this file using the "Text DataPlugin Wizard" in the Navigator? I was successful with that approach on your file, the standard CSV file importer may get confused by something inside your file ...

I hope that helps,

Hi Brad,

I am not able to use this uri as it is not compatible with the version 11.1.

Can you modify to make it use in this version and lower.

Hi Igni,

You didn't mention a DIAdem version, so I built it to work with DIAdem 2012, 2011, or 2010.  I missed by one version, since DIAdem 2010 released directly after DIAdem 11.1.  I've now recoded the DataPlugin should work with DIAdem 11.1 as well.

It always helps to mention your DIAdem version,

Hi Brad,

Thank you its working. The diadem version what I am using is 11.1. Can the same uri be used for versions 11, 10.2,10.1 and 10.

How to create uri files so that we can try ourselves next time.

Regards,

X. Ignatius

Hi Igni,

I have once again changed the USI version so that the DataPlugin will now work with all DIAdem versions later than DIAdem 9.1.

There is a DataPlugin API description and several examples in the Help system of DIAdem.
