Hi Rash.Patel,
I'd recommend that you choose "Save as" and make sure you're saving the TDV file in the correct Windows folder, which should overwrite the older TDV file that you edited. If you don't get the Windows confirmation dialog asking if you really want to replace the old TDV file, then you're not saving the edited TDV file in the right folder.
The Channel references in the VIEW and REPORT curve configurations have to match the Group and Channel names of the data Channels you want to plot. If you change the name of the Channel in the Data Portal from "Channel 1" to "Upper Limit", then you need to change the curve configuration in VIEW and/or REPORT from "[1]/Channel 1" to "[1]/Upper Limit" or "[1]/[5]".
Have you considered purchasing or attending a DIAdem Customer Education course?

Hi Brad,
I took Diadem Basic and Advanced training in Ni, India in june 2010. But there was no much exposure on programming as well as customer specific training.
And ya regd tdv files exactly the same way as u r mentioning I am saving. I pos up a dialog to overwrite the exixting.tdv file.I give YES .But still now also I could nt change it to Upper lomit and Lower limit.
I tried so many times to overwrite it. I dont knw whats wrong.:(. Can you try it once..

Hi Rash,
The only explanation I can think of is that you are overwriting a different TDV file than you think you are. Perhaps it would help to grab just the files you need and copy them to a brand new directory. I'm including a Test3.zip attachment which you could just unzip to a completely new folder that just has the "right" files in it. You say that the script I sent loads layout files that work, but you still want to change them. Why do you want to change them? I thought from your email that you wanted to rename the "Channel 1" and "Channel 2" channels to "Upper Limit" and "Lower Limit", but the Test3.txt file you sent doesn't do that, so it would be pointless to change the layout references without first changing the channel names. I'm going to assume that's what you want anyway-- here's a Test3 version where the VBS file changes the limit names to "Upper Limit" and "Lower Limit" and the TDV and TDR files reference those names.
