DIAdem loading data problem through script commands

Hello!

I had a developed data plugin for loads an specific type of data retrived from an SQL database. When I drag and drop the file ( the one that contains the data) into de data portal, DIAdem loads the data correctly (using the data plug-in developed). However, sometimes when I use the command Call DataFileLoad("Data_File_Path", "Data_Plug_in") DIAdem generates an error that says that the file cannot be loaded because the file cannot be opened.

Can someone help me with this issue? what could be happening?

In order to provide more effective help, it would be useful to have some more information.

Which version of DIAdem are you using?

Could we have as screenshot? Was there an error code?

Where is the database stored - locally?

Is anything else accessing the database?

Is there an existing DataPlugin that you could test with your specific type of data?

Hi Andres,

By any chance do you sometimes open these data files in Excel?  Excel will block access to any other application while it has a file open, whether it's an *.xlsx file or just some ASCII file you've opened.
