CLD on site exam

Is it possible to do a CLD exam on site instead of on line in the UK? Thank you.

Until further notice, NI has dropped the on-site exam option and only online option is available.

Thank you for the answer. Do you know if it is because of covid? just wonder if they will bring it back in the near future. Really doesn't like the idea of on line testing.

Yeah, this was due to covid but if this method works out well for NI as they don't need to have personnel on-site to conduct exams, they might continue all exams online.

Given the fact that the online option definitely doe not work and is so appalling that I am considering dropping my CLA re-certification altogether - it would be interesting to hear what is the final decision of NI.

I used to very actively encourage young-er engineers to get certified but if NI decides that the PSI online certification is the only option, then I guess NI certification is history.

Thank you for reviving this thread! On-site CLD, CLA and CLED-2 exams are now available in many situations. To check availability in your area and request scheduling, go to the main webpage for the certification (CLD, CLA, CLED-2) and click on the dark green "Request [CertName] Exam Onsite" button. This will open a form to collect the information that our Certification team will use to schedule your exam or explain the constraints in your area.

I'm glad this looks like it will work for you. As to location, time, etc, the form allows the request to go to more local representatives who will have better information for you than what I'd be able to guess. Good luck on your Certification!
