CLD-R Sample Exam 2 Question 27

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

In question 27 of the CLD-R Sample Exam 2, the answer is given as (b) 4.  How is this?

In preallocation clone, from the help files: " If the Preallocated clone reentrant execution option is selected, each caller is given its own private data space (and clone). If there are 20 calls to the VI, 20 clones will be created and added to the pool when the calling VI begins...."

How is the answer 4?

Thanks!

The VI is being called in 4 places.  So there should be 4 instances of it.  It is not the number of times the VI is ran, but the number of times it is placed on the block diagram.

(... of course it would become a little bit more complicated if one would set the FOR loop to be parallelized. :D)
