Congratultions SIR Ben!
Not as nice as a daughter but, still a worthy accomplishment and well earned! BTW- when will her first post be?

Ben's code snippets and insight have enriched and guided the path of my personal and professional development as a young LabVIEW developer. His contributions to this board - whether responses to my or other's questions - have sparked elegant solutions I could not have licked myself in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you so much for the prolific, profound, gracious expertise and support.
Best regards, Ben,
Jack Dunaway
(edit... damn, that was sappy, and I just said "licked myself"... but really, congrats)

I've accused Sir Ben of following me around, because it seems like he's always been there when I've had a tough question.
But, I now think he follows EVERYONE around, handling tough questions.
Congratulations, Sir Ben

Steve,
I know what you mean. I've had the impression that he kind of takes us "under his wing" for quite a while now. It's an extra feeling that people are actually watching out for the PEOPLE on the forum that makes this place so special and Ben deserves a lare portion of the credit for that.
Shane.

Yes, the group here is tight-knit and everyone tries to help, no matter what. Ben certainly fits the mold here to a tee. People like Ben make you more confident also when posting solutions because if you're wrong (or there's an easier way), they simply tell you it's not going to work and then prodeed to explain why and then tell you how it should be done. The big difference here is the way they tell you. It's not couched in a post that is designed to make you feel small and them all-knowing. It becomes a lesson for you and you genuinely learn new stuff.
Congrats, Sir Ben of the Order of Knights of NI!

Congratulations Sir Ben, for the KnightHood.
I noticed it 2 days back.
I am quite new here, as after becoming a member I wasn't very active on the forums. And I must say you're one of the most visible names on forum.
thanks Muks for sharing the 10000th post. I am using a sub-vi on several locations in the same VI, but had yet missed to change it to re-entrant. 😉
One question. Are all the Knights given special image? I mean, your profile pics (gifs) have a shining star, that brightens up every minute or so. I noticed that in Altenbach's profile pic also. and now your Bear also has the same effect. 😉
