This showed up on the Info-LabVIEW mailing list, but I hadn't seen it here yet, so I thought I'd share for the rest of the community.

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.

The discussion threads for bug reporting (and unimaginable consequences) in that version would be interesting to read.very-happy smiley

'I was running anniversary.vi, it crashed, and I can no longer find my wife...' I did a reboot and reinstall of LV77- it did not work, msiblast was of no help either. UH OHsurprised smiley I guess my vi got corrupted.

I then used my backup CD, but it dated back to Girlfriend3.0. Oopps.

Heh. I like it.

By the way, any clue where that charming muzak in Life Without LabVIEW came from?

Now there's the edit undo feature that I could really do with..Smiley Very Happy

I guess the very atractive wife module is another one of those expensive add-ons to the base package and I bet the tech support is still really bad for that add-on. I also strongly suspect that you still have to watch out for the high on going maintenance costs, upgrades and terminating the support contract is probably still a real $!£#.Smiley Wink

Of course unless LabVIEW 35 increases my life expectancy, I will unfortuntaly be 'pushing up daisys' by the time version 77 is released.Smiley Tongue
