How to specify exponent format in cwGraph?d

Hi,

I'm using LW/CVI 7.0 with the cwGraph ActiveX control from MS 7.0 under Windows XP.
I'm trying to display the Y-axis in scientific format, but I can't figure out how to specify the maximum exponent width.
Maybe an example will clarify what my problem is.
Let's say I have a tick with value 0.003234 on the Y-axis. I'd like it to display "3.234E-3" and not "3.234E-002" like it does.
Unfortunately I have lots of plots in the widget and even a 2 digits space gain would be fantastic.
I've tried different VB formats, but I'm more of a C guy, so I easily might have missed something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

The breakpoint is our social forum. You should probably post this over in the CVI forum: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board?board.id=180

Good luck! 🙂

Hi,
This forum (the Breakpoint) is more of a social thread, rather than technical. To get a helpful technical response try reposting your question to the LabWINDOWS/CVI Forum where those with knowledge of LW/CVI lurk.

Hi,

Sorry about that. Meant to post this to the LW/CVI forum originally. I guess I should click slower...

Looks like Altenbach and LV_Pro are concurrent parallel post processors
