That's too hot for me. At this temps you can use me as your barbecue (don't do it, no cannibalism) and not for doing anything else. We have now about 20 degC here in Germany. All above 27 degC is too hot for me and my working seed will slow down to 0.

I'm old enough to remember miles and Farenheit and gallons (and wise enough to knoe the difference between US & Imperial gallons 😉 )

It's pouring rain at 27C, or feels like 140 F out there. Took a shower outside 😉

You are describing traffic in Montreal or Toronto.
It seems that rush-hour is an all-day event now.

Well it also describes "rush" hour in Austin these days. Wasn't so bad when I lived there "lo these many years ago", but the population is about 4X bigger now. Yes, I've experienced Toronto's rush hour, have rarely been so terrified, and I learned to drive in Washington, DC (which was recently rated as the US city where you are mostly likely to get into an accident). 115 Kph one second, 25 mph the next, then back up to speed. To make it worse, the last time I was there the radio program I was listening to was talking about some "killer" stretch of highway near where I was, where X# of fatal accidents had occured in the last year. I like living in my semi-rural area, where not hitting wildlife is normally my biggest concern in my commute.

I "really" learned to drive in Boston & Montreal.

Toronto is a leasurely drive... very relaxing.

I will "test" New York next year. But find most US roads very ... slow.. quiet... hummm...
... how to describe it.. "neat" in the sense that they follow speed limits and are typically polite.

I guess, Montreal & Boston resemble LA (although I haven't been there yet... based on movies). 😉

A co-worker made it to Texas this spring. He discovered that Canada is part of "Northern-Texas". I guess it's a big state. 😉 He had only good things to say! 😄

(see, all Canadians are not all that bad!!)

Hi all

Recently I discovered this.

I think NI could provide something similar.

That's cool.

Well, according to the map, you're locaded just "down the road" from me (ZH). It's kind of hard to see if you're in Austria, Liechtenstein or Switzerland...

But then again, should I supply my current address, or my "home" address? Hmmm. Depends on which way I want the statistics to go I suppose... 😄

I think this is a nice idea. If NI could provide "something similar" it would be great.....

Sometimes it's better if no one knows where you are ;).
But due to the fact that you live somewhere in ZH (I don't know if it's in the city or in the outskirts) we may see each other at NI-Days.

In general I think that's a nice tool, which could help to get in touch with other developers.

Should Molly now install a seperate german discussion board? I know from a sience magazine a UN statistic that there are more native german speakers than french.

Waldemar,

there is already a german LV forum (can't find the link), however maybe most of the native german speakers who use LV are able to follow english forums Smiley Wink

Another question: I personally prever the english LV version. And I assume that the percentage of english version sold in germany is higher than in france.
