Hi,
as mentioned in ISO 26262-8:2018 (clause 11) a software tool needs qualification when TCL>1. My question is that does a testing tool/verification tool also needs the qualification, and how about the corresponding hardware? In another word, should the tool's hardware (if it has) or even the test bench needs to be qualified in compliance with ISO 26262?
