Hello,

SDOs are master/slave communications mainly used for drive configuration, whereas PDOs are used for real-time control and data transfer. You can send a PDO peer-to-peer or broadcast to all the devices.

I hope this clears some things up!  Please post any other questions you may have.

Hi,

See the online help file from our NI CANopen Library for LabVIEW for some basic informations about SDOs and PDOs.

More information should be available from the web.
