Trouble with Webcam in MyRIO

Additional information: We are currently operating on a VMWare virtual machine running Windows 7. Will that affect our ability to run vision aquisition software or download the appropriate drivers?

Virtual machines sometimes have trouble routing communication to USB devices, so it is possible that is a problem. I've never configured a myRIO using a VM, but I've installed software onto a cRIO over ethernet without problem dozens of times. Do you have a normal (non-VM) machine you could use to try connecting the myRIO?
