Hi sinesquare,
NI-ELVIS have many Express VI you can use to acquire your data in LabVIEW. You should be able to find the Oscilloscope function in your functions palette as long as you have the appropriate drivers installed. This function should be under Measurement I/O » NI-ELVIS for NI-ELVIS I. However, if you have our new NI-ELVIS II board, than you have to install the NI ELVISmx drivers and the functions should show up under Measurement I/O » NI-ELVISmx
NI ELVIS Software 3.0.2 (for ELVIS I)
NI ELVISmx Software 4.0 (for ELVIS II)
I hope this helps,

Hi sinesquare,
Unfortunately I could not find any examples using the oscilloscope and function generator express VIs for NI-ELVIS I as these VIs should be fairly easy to use. Is there anything in particular you are having difficulties with? Perhaps you could describe what you are trying to do and post your VI so we could have a look.
