I intend to calibrate NI 4472 using Calexec 3.1

Calexec help asks me to

1. Connect the eight SMB to BNC cables to channels 0–7.
2. Using the eight BNC T-connectors, tie all analog input channels together and connect them to the 50 Ω terminator.

The connection between the NI4472 card, Calibrator and the function generator is not clear to me. Is a Calibration Fixture necessary to perform the calibration of this card? If so, what are the connections and if not so, how is the calibrator connected (apart from the GPIB conenction)to the card?

Hey Poornuma,

Thanks for contacting National Instruments support.  In the hardware requirements for the different devices there is no fixture mentioned.  You should be able to follow the on-screen prompts to determine how to connect the devices together.  Let me know if you have any further questions.
