Hello dear Teststanders :-),
each time the daylight savings time switch, our long time running testers complain that the sequence was changed and it can't be reloaded because the execution is running. This is quite annoying. Although the tests are continuing in the background, I'm not sure it doesn't affect the test. Also in the reports there is a 1-hour step.
Is there a way to avoid this, i.e. use UTC? Maybe as Windows setting?
We're using Teststand 3.5. Have there been changes in later versions regarding this?
Best regards,
Thomas

If you don't care about the clock being off by an hour, you can disable the "automatically adjust clock for daylight savings time" setting for the operating system. That will probably work as the clock should not be adjusted in that case. Then you can always adjust it for daylight savings time manually, when you are there to allow the sequence to continue executing.
Hope this helps,

Hi Thomas,
I looked into this further and found out that this has actually been fixed in TestStand 4.0 and higher, so next time you upgrade you shouldn't have to worry about this problem anymore.
