TB6560 controller & 28BYJ-48 stepper motor!

Hi every one, bonjour,

 

Finally, i got my TB6560 stepper motor driver-controller. 

I am looking now for cheap stepper motor to do my first tests.

 

i got this reference : 28BYJ-48, but i got no information about the current it drives and it needs.

is there any one who has already used the TB6560  with labview?

and how about the motor 28BYJ-48 any help? experience to share?

Never used the driver, but here is some info on the motor, just Google it:

Indeed, the link you sent me has lot of information, but i have already have them.

May be, i am new in this field..;

please, correct me if i am wrong, a stepper motor is caracterized but it phase curent

 

for exemple for thse known motors Nema17:

the phase curent is 1A

 

and for this one:

the rated current is 0.8A

 

and, i need this information for the 28BYJ-48 to know which driver i can use, or to be more precise wich power supply i shall use for mu TB6560 to drive this motor (the input power, voltage and current of the driver, depends on how much current the stepper motor needs, but this information is no where on internet

 

i think that the problem is that those motors, have their own drivers (on 5V or 12V) and can't be driven by others drivers..;

 

please, can some one correct me?

From the specs- volatge is 5V, phase resistance is 50 ohms. 5V/50ohms = 0.1Amp.

Hi,

 

Do you have the specification sheet for the stepper drive?  I found some online and it looks like the motor could work with the drive.  I would need to check the actual specifications from the manufacturer though.

To clarify, the second link you sent, is that IDENTICAL to the hardware you have or is it just SIMILAR?  Also, do you intend to use this device with LabVIEW?

Yes definitly, the controller i want to use is based on the TB6560AHQ (3 ships,each for one direction)

So the ship is identical. (i mean the : TB6560AHQ not the TB6560AFG)

and IDENTICAL to  http://www.ebay.com/itm/CNC-Router-3-Axis-3-5A-TB6560-Stepper-Motor-Driver-Board-For-Engraving-Machi...

 

AND OF COURSE, DEFINITLY, I WANT TO USE LABVIEW to control my 3D motion, i want to addapt it to a 2D imaging (X and Y motion), and the Z motion will be for focusing a laser on the surface of my sample. Am I clear?

Hi,

 

The output current of the motor drive is 3.5 A max and the motor only requires 0.5 A.  So there is definitely enough current to drive the motor.  The concerns I have are with the phase configuration and the output current from the driver.  The specification sheet for the driver says it is only 2 phase, but the eBay page states that it is 4 phase.  It will need to be 4 phase to drive the motor.  The motor operates at 5 V, I cannot find a specification for the motor driver, but it needs to be 5 V in order to work with the motor.  The motor driver is also for a Bipolar stepper motor.  I cannot find a specification for the motor on whether it is bipolar or unipolar.  So in order to make sure it will work the operating voltage of the driver will need to be confirmed, the phase of the driver will need to be confirmed, and the polarity of the motor will need to be confirmed.
