Use IMAQdx functions for getting images from usb cam. Good idea to check acquisition in MAX (you camera should be listed in IMAQdx devices).

Again, NI-IMAQ for USB Cameras is not a part of VAS/VDM. This toolkit was intended for old LabVIEW/Vision versions. Right now acquisition from usb cameras is supported by IMAQdx:

Hi Andrey,

I am in a similar situation

I am also using the IMAQdx functions palette and still the Enumerate Cameras function doesn't list any camera.

Can you please check the thread and see if you have some clues?

Thanks ahead!

Hi, Andrey!
I have installed LabVIEW 2010 and the NI-IMAQdx functions are just the same as the picture shown above.
Now, I have a problem. In old LabVIEW/Vision versions, I can use the IMAQ USB propertypage.vi to access the properties page that is provided by the camera manufactuter, how can do this with the functions in IMAQdx?

Hi,

you have to use the IMAQdx property node, you will be able to find a lot of informations.
