Can you explain when the error occurs?
The only USI errors I am familiar with are related to DIAdem or LabVIEW DataPlugins, so if you are using one of those softwares you might try posting on a different forum.
If you are using CVI, is it an error you get when you run your application in LabWindows/CVI, are you running from a compiled executable, or have you created an installer for your application and installed it on the new machine?
If you are running it in CVI, what version of CVI do you have? Is it the same version you were previously using on XP? Otherwise, do you have the runtime engine installed?
Are you using any particular drivers or toolkits/modules? Are you interfacing with hardware?
