XMODEM 1K file transfer

Hi,

I am looking to implement XMODEM protocol in LabVIEW for serial port communications.

From some browsing on the web it seems like I will need a 3rd party tool?

I was wondering if anyone can recommend any 3rd party tools they have successfully used?

I can across the following, has anyone on the forums used it?

They have ActiveX components.

I've never tried them, but you can try Mark's VIs that he posted on LAVA a few years back: http://lavag.org/topic/11011-xmodem-protocol-using-hyperterminal/

HyperAccess also has an ActiveX interface. I did not use it with LabVIEW but with TestStand.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will look at both of them.

I am developing the overall test automation in TestStand - if I use HyperAcces I can always do it in TestStand.  Dennis would you have a working example in TestStand that you would be able to share with me?
