TD80ReadWrite.cpp

LabVIEW will start up, but when I try to open yesterday's successful .vi file, it crashes.  On restart, I get an error message about TD80ReadWrite.cpp, line 1487.  Searching the discussion forums, I find a thread in Chinese, but it's not helpful... something about a "cluster inside array" and a "CIN node".

1) Anyone understand the error and what can be done to solve it?

2) As a backup, is there a way to open up the .vi file without causing the error and edit out the offensive elements?

Hello,

What software versions are you using? Can you post the VI in question so I can see if it replicates the issue here?

I'm using LabVIEW 2009 SP1 Base Development System, ver. 9.0.1.  The troublesome vi file is attached.

I redid the application from scratch, and the new version works fine, so this isn't a pressing problem.  More that I want to educate myself to prevent this in the future.

Thanks

Hello,

I was able to reproduce this here with the VI you attached and have created CAR #237220 for the issue.  Since you were able to redo the application and everything worked, this points to a corruption somewhere in your VI. I do not think that this is something that you did wrong and I apologize for the inconvenience.
