Is it possible to use shared variables to communicate with a STM32 microcontroller?

I have an STM 32 microcontroller. I have an existing VI that uses shared variables. I was wandering if we could use shared variables with microcontrollers.

Yes, if you are using the LabVIEW Embedded module for ARM, you can read and write to Shared Variables hosted elsewhere. See the help here, and this KnowledgeBase article for more information.
