When using measurement units, occasionally one needs to square a value. for example a distance to form an area, or a current or voltage value to do power calculations. Wiring the value with units to both inputs of a multiply function behaves as expected. The value is squared and the unit becomes a unit squared. However when using the square function, only the value is squared. The unit remains the same.
