install PCI-GPIB card under a redhat7.3 system

I try to install a PCI-GPIB interface card on a PC-LINUX REDHAT7.3.
The system recognizes the card (in /etc/sysconfig/hwconf), but nigpib (0.8.3) tells me it doen't recognize it (You can see the error file).
What can I do? Thanks..

Hi,

Try using the lastest version of the driver, You can find it at: http://www.ni.com/linux/ni488dl.htm.

What version of gcc are you using?. The 0.8.5 driver is compiled with gcc-3.2.

Hope this helps.

Hello,
Thak you for your answer.
At first, I was using the 2.95 version of gcc with the 0.8.3 version of nigpib. Now, I've done exactly what you said : domnload nigpib0.8.5 and gcc3.2, compile with it, but I always have the same error. It seems that the "insmod nigpib" always has unresolved symbols. What can I do.

Thanks.

Hi,

What unresolved symbols are listed? Could you attach the output of the installer?.
