How to detect HP GPIB card by MAX?

I have an Agilent GPIB-PCI interface board 82350A, but it is not recognize by MAX. I followed the instruction from the knowledge Base: Uninstalled HP-VISA, installed HP-SICL and NI-VISA 3.0. It seems that it still doesn't work.

Hi,
It seems like you are reffering to the following KnowledgeBase:
http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/E56D3D4866BE0A8A86256942006626F0?OpenDocument

A non-National Instruments board may or may not show up in MAX. As the KB mentions: "Since HPIB boards using HP-VISA will not be found by MAX, you must right-click on the control or constant and select "Allow Undefined Names." This will allow you to manually type the address of the instrument. Then, you must get the proper board and instrument address from the Agilent/HP I/O configuration utility."

So you will have to add it manually in MAX as it only auto-detects National Instruments boards.

Hope this helps.
